Polished Surfaces Pty Ltd (ABN 60 690 408 854), trading as SupportPath, connects Australian families with NDIS providers and support workers through our online directory at supportpath.com.au.
Some provider profiles are created using publicly available data from the NDIS Commission Provider Register. Providers can claim and update their profiles at any time.
What we collect
From providers and support workers:
Name, business name, email, phone, suburb, state, ABN, NDIS registration number, WWCC details, profile content (bio, photos, services), hourly rates, availability preferences, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe).
From families and participants:
Name, email, phone, suburb, participant name (optional), messages sent to providers, saved provider lists, search preferences, and emergency contact details.
From all visitors:
IP address, browser type, pages visited, search queries, and cookie data.
Why we collect it
- To create and manage your account;
- To display provider profiles in search results;
- To facilitate messaging between families and providers;
- To verify provider identity and NDIS registration;
- To process subscription payments;
- To send you relevant notifications about your account;
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- To improve our directory and user experience.
Who we share it with
We may share your personal information with:
- Other users of the directory (e.g., families can see provider profiles; providers see enquiry details);
- Service providers that help us operate the directory (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend and SendGrid for email, Supabase for data storage, Algolia for search, Twilio for SMS verification, Google Analytics for usage analytics, hCaptcha for bot protection);
- Regulatory bodies where required by law (e.g., NDIS Commission, police);
- Our related entities as set out in our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
What happens if you don't provide it
If you choose not to provide personal information, we may not be able to create your account, display your profile, process your enquiries, or provide the full functionality of our directory.
